Eric Mason PT and Chris Kopp PT, OCS of Premier Physical Therapy are approaching ten years as exclusive providers of rehab and wellness services to the Gatorade Fitness Center at Daytona International Speedway, serving race-car drivers and employees of NASCAR and International Speedway Corporation. The facility is located on the infield of the Speedway in the driver's motor coach paddock. Equipped with a full line of strength training and cardiovascular machines, physical therapy equipment, a therapeutic massage room, showers, and an entertainment center, the facility stays busy both during and between race events. It has become very popular with drivers, crewmembers, and their families during the Rolex 24 Hour Race, the Daytona 500, and the Coke Zero 400. Drivers like Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Burton, Elliot Sadler, Michael Waltrip, Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Shane Lewis, Max Pappas, Scott Maxwell, Cort Wagner, and many others, take regular advantage of the variety of services offered at the Center.
Rolex 24 Hour Race driver David Brabham had this to say about the services provided by Chris and Eric:
“Many thanks for the great support during our time at Daytona. It was a good result for the team and I am now showing off my new Daytona Rolex! Scott, Dave, and I really needed your great work because we pushed like hell the whole race. I wish you luck for the rest of the season.”
